2007 - 2010 Participant in the research project Socialist Dictatorship as a World of Meaning. Representations of Social Order and Transformation of Authority in East Central Europe after 1945, a common undertaking of the Institute of Contemporary History, Prague, and the Center for Contemporary History, Potsdam (funded by the Volkswagen-Stiftung)

September 2008 - February 2009 Visiting lecturer at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, Germany (invited and funded by Honours Masters Programme East European Studies), courses on contemporary history of the Central-Eastern Europe.

April 2006 Visiting lecturer, Institute of History, University of Tampere, Finland, (Erasmus Teachers Exchange), block course on comparative history
